Regardless of whether you own a period property or a modern one, a lean to conservatory can be designed to complement both styles. The roof of the lean to conservatory is relatively simple and less expensive to install as compared to the conservatories with a pitched roof making it an attractive option for many clients. The lean to conservatory can work well with bungalows and even single storied buildings. The slanted roof of the conservatory is braced onto the top elevation by the wall of the property which is why sufficient height needs to be available at the wall end of the building so that rainwater can run off the slope and there still remains enough interior headroom for the users. For such situations the roof of the lean to conservatory can also be made weatherproof and be fitted under the soffit of the building.
